Fashion has taken its toll in mesmerizing the young as well as the old. There are no rules that exist in fashion but proportion matter.

 Most Nagas like to indulge themselves in the world of fashion. They do get a glimpse of every style through magazines and watching the most popular fashion channels." I watch music channels and fashion TV to catch the look of the latest ongoing fashion." Says, Renthunglo Lotha.

Nagas of the present generation mostly like to blend its culture with the modern style which emphasis and bring out a whole new change that look sophisticated. "Fashion is not something that exist in dresses only,it also depends on how you carry yourself. Fashion is in the streets in the way we live and for me it depends on my mood and thoughts." Says Canati Shohe.

Nagas mostly go for tailored dresses trimmed by own self-design to go off the racks of a leading high-street retailer. Brand is just a name not merely necessary to compete of what you wear. Self-made dresses are most common these days. In every household in Nagaland one would find a self -taught designer who knows how to stitch. "I wear dresses mostly stitched by my sister,who is a self- taught designer, it gives me more comfort." Says Noyingbeni Kithan

Most Nagas are not into the indulgence of wearing the exact same outfit that the market has to offer,there is always an input in the outfit they purchase. Refitted dresses are most common thing to find in the youths of Nagaland." Fashion is all about comfort and finding your second skin,trend can be secondary and how you carry yourself in it,cause I believe the most important thing at the end is the women wearing those dress." Says Thsahling.

 Rich or poor fashion has no status marked on anybody. It can be laid out by anyone. Nagas have vastly captured the prominent outlook of their magnificent style to showcase it to other parts of the country. Recognition mostly comes out from the varied Naga culture. There has been a lot of impact bringing more splendid to the State. Fashion is best described when one carry oneself with confidence in the dress one put.

 You will find Nagas carrying a whole new trend from the latest fashion runways. Nagas are so into fashion that they consistently get involved with the celebrities signature style. You will find the trendiest Nagas on occasion like wedding and the churchgoer. Experimenting with fashion is most common in Nagaland. They are not afraid to completely redefine their style though the society is quite compact yet they do not averse. Even the elderly folks are getting their hands on in fashion these days.
